It was an impressive week for Cal commits in high school football. We start on defense, where JH Tevis‍ had a monster game in Menlo's 48-13 blowout of South San Francisco. Tevis notched 10 tackles, including five for loss, and three sacks.

Matthew Cindric‍ dominated on both sides of the ball, as Jim McGill reported in detail. Cindric finished with 2.5 sacks and two more tackles for loss in Skyline's 31-24 win over Eastlake in triple overtime.
