Monday Practice Report: Devante Downs Out For Season

Just when you thought it wasn't possible for Cal to suffer another key injury, it has happened again.

This time it's senior linebacker Devante Downs. The two-time Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week will miss the rest of the season with a lower body injury.

“I really feel for Devante because the guy has just been a warrior and worked extremely hard," said head coach Justin Wilcox after Monday's practice.
