Position Preview: Cal Linebackers

The linebacking corps have played a key role in the Bears’ defense since head coach Justin Wilcox took over in 2017. Each of the last three seasons have seen Cal linebackers among the nation’s tackles leaders with Jordan Kunaszyk, Evan Weaver and Kuony Deng piling up stops for the Bears.

The Bears lost All-American LB Evan Weaver to the draft while bringing back Deng, who was third in the Pac-12 last season with 119 tackles.
