Okafor will be reunited with former Ireland hoopster and friend Sam Alajiki at Cal, giving the Bears another boost in his recruitment.
“I know Sam very well,” said Okafor. “He tells me he really likes it at Cal. And Cal’s academics will help me with my future.
“My goal is to be the next Cal NBA pro.”
The Bears secured Okafor’s commitment over Arizona, Baylor, Creighton, Georgetown, Georgia, and TCU.
