A season that started with so much promise for the Cal football program got off to an extremely disappointing 1-5 start but saw the team rebound with a pair of resounding wins over Oregon State and Colorado before the spector of covid reared it's ugly head again and cost them a likely win over winless Arizona and forced nearly half it’s roster off the field for 10 days.
