Cal OLBs Myles Jernigan and Orin Patu both have similar trajectories in their collegiate careers so far. Both entered Cal in 2019 and redshirted their freshman seasons. Both the 6-3/245 Jernigan and 6-4/235 Patu came aboard closer to 200 lbs than their present weights and both entered the season with one start under their belt, with Jernigan playing in 13 games to Patu’s 16.
