Madsen Getting Close to Rounding Out His Staff

Not long after naming Vanderbilt assistant Adam Mazarei as assistant head coach, sources are indicating the Bears are close to naming their final two assistants.

Like Madsen, Mazarei brings with him several years of experience in the NBA as well as a big turnaround at Vandy on his resume, where the oft-downtrodden Commodores compiled a 22-15/11-7 record under head coach Jerry Stackhouse just two years removed from their 9-16/3-13 record in 2020-21.
