When head strength and conditioning coach Brian Johnson arrived at Cal in 2021, the veteran coach brought with him a wealth of experience at some of the top football programs in the country, gleaning philosophies and coaching styles he could one day meld into his own in Berkeley.

"Yeah, everywhere I go, I try to take a little bit from the people that I'm around and mold it into what I do, because I always want to be myself, Johnson said.
