Davison III And Veasy On Tropical Bowl Rosters

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Former Cal linebacker Raymond Davison III and wide receiver Jordan Veasy are on the American Team roster for the 2018 Spiral Tropical Bowl to be played at Daytona Beach Municipal Stadium on Sunday, January 14 (9 am ET). FloFootball.com will stream the game live.

Below are notes on Davison III and Veasy.
 
Raymond Davison III, LB, 6-2, 235, Los Angeles, CA (Crespi Carmelite HS)
• Played in 47 games with 25 starts over the last four seasons of his five campaigns at Cal after redshirting as a 2013 true freshman
• Finished his collegiate career with 173 tackles while adding 9.0 tackles for loss (-52 yards), 4.5 sacks (-42 yards), two interceptions that he returned for 39 yards and one touchdown, eight pass breakups, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and four quarterback hurries 
• Registered career highs of 6.0 tackles for loss and 48 tackle for loss yards as well as all of his career totals for sacks (4.5, -42 yards) and forced fumbles (2) in addition to one of his two career interceptions and career highs in both pass breakups (4) and quarterback hurries (2) as a 2017 senior
• Posted a career-high 69 tackles as well as a career-high-tying one interception that he returned 39 yards for his lone career touchdown at Oregon State as a 2016 junior when he also served as a Cort Majors Team Captain
 
Jordan Veasy, WR, 6-3, 225, Gadsden, AL (Golden West College/Faulkner/Gadsden City HS)
• Played in 24 games with 13 starts and contributed 63 receptions for 797 yards receiving with nine touchdown catches
• Had at least a single reception in each of his final 19 contests
• Posted career highs of 38 receptions, 491 yards receiving and six touchdown catches as a 2017 senior with the latter leading the Golden Bears
