Jeremiah Wilkinson Signs With Golden Bears
BERKELEY – California men’s basketball head coach Mark Madsen announced Wednesday that prep standout Jeremiah Wilkinson signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Golden Bears next season.
Wilkinson, a 6-foot-1 guard from Powder Springs, Georgia, will join the Bears ahead of the 2024-25 season, their first as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference. The three-star prospect (247 Sports Composite) is Cal’s first 2024 signee.
“We’re very excited to have Jeremiah join the Cal family next year,” Madsen said. “He’s an explosive and dynamic scoring guard with great vision who will make an impact for us as we transition to the ACC next season. It was evident early in the recruiting process that Jeremiah is aligned with our program’s core values. Jeremiah is going to be an outstanding player here at Cal, and we can’t wait to have him wearing the Blue and Gold!”
Wilkinson previously attended McEachern High School and is currently enrolled at and playing for The Skill Factory in Atlanta. The Peach State guard also plays on the AAU circuit for Game Elite, the same Adidas #3SSB program that featured former Cal standout and NBA all-star Jaylen Brown. Wilkinson averaged 15.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.6 steals per game for Game Elite in 2023.
