Cal Football Spring Practice Day 3

Day 3 of spring ball saw more of the perfect weather conditions that have greeted the team so far this week, beating clouds, wind and drizzle by a few hours.

Players wore shoulder pads for the first time this spring and it wasn’t a coincidence that some non-sanctioned hard contact happened on occasion during practice - usually by an overzealous defense eager to hit.

Defensive coordinator Peter Sirmon was the lone media banner appearance today.
