The Cal Legends NIL Collective is pleased to announce a great opportunity to support Cal's NIL program with a day of fun at Braemar Country Club in Tarzana June 17.

Come start your day with practice range putting and chipping contests, a breakfast spread with an open bloody mary and mimosa bar to start your day from 9 am to 10:45 am before the call to carts. The scramble starts at 11 with on-course lunch provided at the turn and more golf to follow and an awards happy hour at 4:30 along with a silent auction.

Fun events include a $70,000 hole-in-one contest, closet to the pin, long drive, and beat the pro contests against an LPGA or PGA golfer on a par 3 hole and a great opportunity to network with likeminded Cal Alumni and Athletics supporters.

We expect to have Cal football and basketball coaches in attendance as well as some surprise guests.

Here’s the link for more information and use this link to register.

I recently played in a scramble where they had a golf ball cannon. So, for one of the shorter par 4's the team could play traditional or select to use the cannon for $100 (every team used it) as their drive. Many teams hit the green and several made eagle which assisted the tournament winner. This tournament was in Florida so I'm not sure if the great state of California would allow a golf ball cannon?!? May be worth looking into to raise additional funds.

Yes, legal in CA. We had a golf canon at our Rotary Club (Arden Arcade) fundraiser here in Sacramento last fall and the owner books it for a lot of golf tourneys.
