Cal Football Fall Camp Day 7
BERKELEY - Today’s 7th practice session got off to an unconventional start as players and coaches were pulled off the field due to a partial campus lockdown due to a gunman who apparently fired a couple shots in the vicinity of students jogging at Clark Kerr campus housing a half mile from Memorial. Practice reconvened at 4:15 for a somewhat abbreviated session under clear blue skies later in the afternoon.
The defense had the edge in 11x11 action this afternoon, with the offense struggling to put together sustained drives and lots of rotating. After today’s session, coaches and players got off the field quickly to help make up for lost time in the cancelled morning session.
