Former Cal wing Jabari Bird is in a transitionary phase of his career, experiencing the joy of being drafted by the legendary Boston Celtics franchise and seeing time in the NBA early in his rookie season this year to the nomadic life of an NBA G League player, playing for the Celtics' Maine Red Claws G League franchise.

Bird's made a strong early mark with the Red Claws, posting an average of 20.2 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists so far in 19 games this season.
