The Bears hosted a large group of 2025 and 2026 unofficial visitors for their 31-10 win over San Diego State Saturday night and we had a chance to catch up with some of the visitors to get their thoughts on the trip out to Berkeley.

Colton Hogge - 6-5/260 2026 OT, Twelve Bridges/Lincoln, CA
“My family and I loved the visit to Cal!” Hogge said. “Going to the game and seeing the atmosphere was incredible. We had a chance to see the facilities after the Cal camp in June they invited me to and I was blown away. I’ve been to several schools now, including UCLA, UNLV, UNR, Fresno State, Oregon State. All of them are really nice but I thought Cal’s facility and gameday environment is amazing.
“Coach Bloesch and Coach Leighton have been awesome to message with and after the June camp they wanted me to keep them up to date with how my junior season is going at Twelve Bridges and with my highlights. I’m starting at left tackle and so far we are 4-0, scoring 42 points a game. I have 17 pancakes or knockdown blocks and have given up zero sacks. I’m a 3-year starter on varsity at TBHS since my freshman year.”
Langdon Horace - 5-10/160 2026 3 star WR, Edison/Stockton HS
“My visit was great, especially with the night game, the atmosphere felt different,” Horace said. “It was exciting. The staff and team showed great love and hospitality. Great experience!”

“My visit was great,” Kier said. “I love the atmosphere there at Cal. The people, the surroundings the school itself is a such a great place. The coaches and staff are all great people. Coach Cherrington and (on campus recruiting director) Amanda Yount are very welcoming people who helped me out a lot and Coach Toler is a great coach. He brings the energy and is a very likeable person and a great guy who I am beginning to build a great relationship with.”
