This weekend, many of Cal’s 2025 commits will be competing in their sectional playoff games and a handful started the playoffs last weekend. Here’s a rundown of the performances of those who competed:

Jaron Keawe Sagapolutele – 2025 QB from Ewa Beach, HI. Sagapolutele got past Kapolei in the first round, putting up insane stats of 473 passing yards and 6 touchdowns in the 49-43 win. In the second round, Kahuku got their revenge with a 33-15 over Campbell. Sagapolutele and the offense were well-contained as he went 19-33 for 239 passing yards and a touchdown. Campbell will be in the loser’s bracket tonight against Saint Louis for an opportunity to play the winner of Mililani and Kahuku.

Jae'on Young – 2025 ATH from Chatsworth, CA. Sierra Canyon kept it rolling against Servite in dominating fashion, 38-14. Young was held to a quiet night, only having 1 reception for 30 yards. Young will be looking to have a big game in the Southern Section Football Championships (California) against Mater Dei tonight. 

Meyer Swinney – 2025 WR from Minneapolis, MN. Swinney and Edina were sent home in the quarterfinals against Maple Grove, losing 42-12. Swinney did not go without a fight though, accumulating 13 receptions for 185 yards and a touchdown. Swinney finished the year with 1263 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns.

Aiden Manutai – 2025 S from Kahuku, HI. Manutai and the Red Raiders did a little on both sides of the ball in the impressive 33-15  victory over Campbell. Manutai had 2 receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown as well as 3 total tackles. Kahuku will gear up for a game against Mililani for a spot in the championship game tonight.

Jacob Houseworth – 2025 TE from Fortuna, CA. Fortuna was able to finish the season off on a high note winning over Eureka 28-20. The first round of playoffs start on 11.15 against first seed Piedmont.

Kaden Cook – 2025 CB from Round Rock, TX. Stony Point’s season ended on 11/1 against Round Rock losing 22-17. Cook finished the year with 54 total tackles, 1 TFL, 1 sack and 2 INTs.

Tre' Harrison – 2025 S from Gardena, CA. Harrison had a quiet night in the dominating win over Downey 28-7. Harrison recorded 4 total tackles and a pass deflection. Next up in the playoffs for Serra is looking to score an upset over top-seeded Yorba Linda.

Ben Howard - 2025 OL from Lehi, UT. Howard and the Skyridge lost in the finals in a heartbreaker 28-21 to Lone Peak. Howard played a huge role in the offense averaging almost 400 yards a game this season

Anthony League – 2025 RB from Long Beach, CA. League played out of his mind but unfortunately his season ended against Crean Lutheran, 20-17. League had 22 carries for 112 and a TD. On defense League got 7 tackles, 1 Sack, and an INT. League finished his senior year with 1658 rushing yards, 23 rushing touchdowns, 379 receiving yards, 4 receiving touchdowns, and 49 tackles.

Mike Klisiewicz – 2025 OL from Brentwood, CA. Liberty finished the season with a win in a low-scoring affair against Heritage, 14-7. The OL paved the way for 242 rushing yards and 162 passing yards. Liberty has first-round playoffs tonight against Vintage.

Ike Okafor – 2025 DE from Alief, TX. The Alief-Hasting Bears ended their season on a positive note with their win over George Ranch 27-21. Okafor’s stats were not uploaded this year.

Lebron Williams – 2025 DE from Kahuku, HI. Williams played a vital role in their upset win over Campbell, 33-15. Williams recorded 2 tackles, 2.5 TFL, and 1 sack in a solid defensive effort. Kahuku plays Mililani for a spot in the championship game tonight.

Beckham Barney – 2025 LB from Mesa, AZ. Barney made some plays on both sides of the ball in a big victory over Red Mountain, 43-38. Barney had 10 rushes for 65 yards and 7 total tackles in an all-around stront effort. Mountain View rematches Cesar Chavez who they blanked 50-0 on 11/1 for the second rounds of the playoffs tonight.

John Tofi Jr. – 2025 ATH from San Franscisco, CA. Tofi Jr. and company finished the regular season with a win over Saint Francis, 34-24. Final stats for Tofi Jr. was not updated. The first round of playoffs starts on Saturday against Soquel.
