The Bears see seven contributors from 2024 leave via the portal only to have five new players choose to matriculate to Berkeley. There will be new mighty mites in the slot, some high ceilinged outside receivers and one key returner in the room.

While a lot of attention (unsurprisingly) was focused on the turnover in the Running Back room for the Cal Bears, there was actually more movement among the Wide Receivers.

Seven of the Bears top eight pass catchers decided to head elsewhere in 2025.  Those losses were offset by the addition of five new receivers from the portal as well as a single prep recruit.
