In the modern age of College Football, spread formations are the standard and defending the pass has become the hallmark of every great defense.   Last year, despite three NFL draft picks in their secondary and a top quartile ACC pass rush, the Bears were inconsistent in defending the pass, finishing 11th in the ACC in that regard.   And with Nohl Williams and Marcus Harris now playing on Sundays, there is a lot of talent to replace.
