
Bears Pick Up NFL Academy Tight End Luca Wolf
The Bears added an interesting piece to their 2026 recruiting class, picking up a commitment from London’s NFL Academy tight end Luca Wolf today.
“Cal was amazing,” Wolf said. “The culture over there is something everybody wants to be a part of! No egos and it’s all about family. The scheme of the offense and the ability of the coaches to evolve me as a player is something every tight end dreams of. Looking forward to be a Bear and especially help my team win!”
A two sport star in Europe, Wolf is new the game of football, previously finding stardom on the hardcourt for the Austrian National Team before picking up football in the last year.
Wolf’s film show the 6-5/250 tight end to be a powerful blocker with strong pass catching skills to go along with his prototype size. He also holds offers from UCF, South Florida, UAB and a host of FCS programs as he continues to get the attention of programs across the pond.
Wolf becomes the becomes the 16th commitment from the 2026 class, joining QB Brady Palmer, running back Victor Santino, WR EJ Morgan, TE Taimane Purcell, OLs Tommy Tofi, Elisha Faamatuainu, Koloi Keli and Artem Korchagin, DL Nemyah Telona, edge Camron Brooks, ILBs Jonathan McKinley and Jaxon Pyatt and DBs Jayden Crowder and Deon Jackson.
