Bears Host Pair of Commits, Several 2027 Prospects For Gold Out Minnesota Game

The Bears will be hosting several unofficial visitors for their showdown vs Minnesota at Memorial Stadium at 7:30 p.m.
Cal is coming off a 35-3 victory over Texas Southern last weekend, running their record to 2-0.
Here is a list of the unofficial visitors scheduled so far for Saturday, starting with the two current Cal commits scheduled to visit:
Victor Santino - 6-0/190 RB, Bishop Montgomery HS - The 4 star Cal is one of the top running backs on the west coast. As a junior, Santino ran for 1,028 yards on 102 carries and 10 TDs. Santino also held offers from Miami, Oregon, Utah, Washington, TCU and more before committing to Cal. With his program shutting down this season over potential recruiting violations, Santino will potentially look for another program to play for with a transfer this season. The RB commit was not able to make it to the game last weekend but plans to be there tomorrow.
Tyree Sams - 5-8/175 WR, Clovis North. As a junior, the blazing fast WR with 10.4 100 speed had 44 catches for 534 yards and 7 TDs and 1,000 all-purpose yards along with one interception on defense for Clovis North in a run-heavy offense led by McKay Madsen, a 4-star standout running back and linebacker who committed to BYU. Samms will be making a return visit to Berkeley tomorrow after taking in last week’s victory.
Jaylen Fitzgerald - 6-5/215 ATH, Brophy Prep (Phoenix, AZ) - The 2025 ATH holds offers from Arizona, Kansas, Cal and more.
Jeovanni Henley - 6-0/165 ATH, Junipero Serra (San Mateo, CA) - The 6-0/165 2027 3 star ATH holds offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon State, San Jose State and more.
Rob Larson 6-2/185 WR, Folsom HS (Folsom, CA) - The 6-2/185 2027 3 star WR is off to a strong start this season with 24 catches for 330 yards and 4 TDs in the first 3 games. He holds offers from UCLA, Wisconsin, BYU, Arizona State and more.
Brody Rudnicki - 6-1/205 QB, Folsom HS (Folsom, CA) - The 2027 QB will be making the trip to Berkeley with his teammate, Rob Larson. He holds offers from this weekend’s opponent, Minnesota, Arizona State, BYU and more.
Malakai Taufoou - 6-2/200 Safety, Junipero Serra (San Mateo, CA) - The 4 star 2027 safety will be making the trip to Berkeley with teammate Jeovanni Henley for Saturday’s game vs Minnesota. Taufoou holds offers from Michigan, Ohio State, Tennessee, Washington and more.
