Friday Night Lights is back for a week three look at how Cal football commits and their teams performed last weekend.

Camron Brooks‍ – 2026 DE from Thomasville, GA. Brooks was quiet in the shut out over Bainbridge 49-0. Brooks accounted for 1 tackle and 1 tackle for loss. Undefeated Yellow Jackets have a bye this week then take on Lee County on 9/26.

Tyree Sams‍ – 2026 WR from Fresno, CA. Sams was active in the dominating win over Central Valley Christian 53-14. Sams hauled in 6 receptions for 88 yards and a touchdown. Clovis North looks to keep their win streak in tact as they take on San Ramon Valley on 9/19.

Taimane Purcell‍ – 2026 TE from Honolulu, HI. The Warriors came off a bye week and look to bounce back against Punahou on 9/20. So far this season Purcell has been active on both side of the ball having 1 reception for 30 yard, 2 tackles, 1 tackle for a loss, and 1 sack.

Kamo'i Huihui-White‍ – 2026 OL from Honolulu, HI. The Crusaders had a Bye this week in preparations for their prime time show down against St John Bosco on 9/19. They are currently 3-0 while averaging 324 total yards a game, 218 in the air and 106 on the ground.

Elisha Faamatuainu‍ – 2026 OL. Faamatuainu and offense rolled through Murrieta Mesa winning convincingly 56-6. Faamatuainu helped anchor the offensive line as the Nighthawks racked up 519 total yards, 236 rushing yards, and 241 passing yards. Next up is King on 9/19.

Jaxon Pyatt‍  – 2026 LB. Pyatt was all over the field in another close call win over Legend 35-34. Pyatt caused havoc getting 9 solo tackles, 4 assisted tackles, and 1 tackle for a loss. Arvada West is up to 4-0 and looks to keep the streak going against Overland on 9/19.

Artem Korchagin‍  – 2026 OL. Thomas County Central blanked Bainbridge in a 49-0 route. Korchagin and the OL kept the offense going as they were able to run up 206 rushing yard and 184 passing yards. The Yellow Jackets will get to rest up this week as they take on Lee County on 9/26.

Jayden Crowder‍ – 2026 CB. Crowder had a slow showing in the big win over Oaks Christian 44-14. Crowder had 1 tackle and 1 tackle for a loss in the route victory. The Eagles will have the week off before their next foe Bishop Gorman on 9/27.

EJ Morgan‍ – 2026 WR. Morgan was a QB favorite in their route of Edison 55-17. Morgan caught the ball 6 time for a solid 64 yards marking the 3rd game out of 4 he’s accounted for 60+ receiving yards. Central East takes on Liberty Friday 9/19.

Nemyah Telona‍ – 2026 DT. The Spartans flexed their muscles in the route over Saint Francis 40-0. Final stats were not uploaded for Telona. De La Salle looks to continue their dominance against Grant on 9/19.

Luca Wolf‍ – 2026 TE. The NFL Academy made adjustments from last week and got the convincing win over Düsseldorf 35-3. Wolf stats were not recorded. Wolf will be back in action against BNL National om 9/21.

Ernest Nunley‍ – 2026 CB. Nunley made his stats count in the impressive victory over La Mirada 54-14. Nunley had 1 reception for 75 yards, 1 touchdown, 1 INT and 3 pass deflections in just an overall low usage but high production game. Western looks to roll on against San Dimas on 9/19.

Esaiah Wong‍ – 2026 OL. Kailua suffered a tough loss in a low scoring affair against Waianae 15-7. Wong lead the offensive charge assisting with 149 passing yards and 142 rushing yards. The Surfriders look to get the offense going this week against Aiea on 9/19.

Rocky Cummings‍ – 2026 ATH. Cummings filled up the stat sheet playing at both sides of the ball in the convincing win over Poway 44-22. Cumming had 1 reception for 2 yards and a touchdown. On defense Cummings had 3 tackles, 1 tackle for a loss,1 sack, and 1 caused fumble. The do it all player looks to keep filling up the stat sheet against Valley Center on 9/19.

Kingston Schirmer‍ – 2026 DT. #6 Centennial (CA) got a massive victory over Mater Dei 43-36. Schirmer did his share on the defense in the shoot out racking up 4 total tackles and 2 pass deflections. The #7 team in the country Centennial Huskies take on Rancho Cucamonga next on 09/19.

Brady Palmer‍ – 2026 QB. Palmer and the Dons were on Bye this week and will be facing Helix on 09/19.

Nainoa Lopes‍ – 2026 QB. The Crusaders were on a Bye. The line up against St John Bosco on 9/19.

Jonathan McKinley‍ – 2026 LB. Centennial came out with an impressive victory 43-36 over Mater Dei. McKinley was a driving force in the victory causing chaos all day for the offense. McKinley had 5 tackles, 3.5 tackles for a loss, 3.5 sacks, 1 QB hurry and 1 recovered fumble. McKinley’s stout performance will be needed when the Huskies take on Rancho Cucamonga next on 09/19.

Frank Fanua‍ – 2026 DT. Fanua and the Matadors won in a close one against Torrey Pines 14-10. Fanua was active on defense accounting for 6 total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and .5 sacks. Fanua looks to replicate his performance against Poway on 09/19.

Deon Jackson‍ – 2026 CB. Jackson and the Jack Rabbits had a Bye week. Their next game is against Jackson on 09/19.
