Bears to Host Quartet of Recruits in Friday Night Clash vs UNC

The Bears will be hosting a smaller group of recruits on Friday with most of their commits and offerees having games that prevent visits for Friday night’s 7:30 pm showdown vs North Carolina.
One of the visits will be an official visit, with 6-0/185 Corner Canyon (Draper, Utah) HS senior wide receiver Kai Meza. The 3 star receiver who also holds offers from Utah, Colorado, Minnesota, Arkansas, Kansas State and more had a stellar sophomore season with 57 receptions for 1131 yards and 10 touchdowns in 10 games as a sophomore Mountain Ridge (Herriman, UT). After transferring to Corner Canyon as a junior, Meza added 42 catches for 784 yards and 8 TDs and so far this season, the senior has 46 catches for 944 yards and 13 TDs.
Also on the uncommitted side, 6-7/320 Centennial (Peoria, AZ) HS offensive tackle Benjamin Lowther will be taking an unofficial visit. The junior OT with a massive 84-inch wingspan also holds offers from Washington, Texas A&M, Arizona, Arizona State, Iowa State and Minnesota.
On the committed front, 6-1/215 Stansbury (Tooele, UT) HS MLB Broncs Baker will be visiting a month after committing to Cal. The 2027 junior has had a stellar season so far, with 43 tackles, 5 TFL, 1 sack and 1 forced fumble. Baker chose the Bears over Arizona State and Kansas State.
Also visiting is 2026 Central East WR commit EJ Morgan. The 6-0/165 receiver had 45 catches, 647 yards and 8 TDs as a junior for the state champs. So far this season, the 3 star senior has 34 catches for 458 yards and 5 TDs. The Fresno speedster also has impressive track time in the 100m (10.7), 200m (21.3) and 400m (47.2). He chose the Bears over Arizona State, San Diego State, Fresno State and more.
Kickoff will be 7:30 pm at Memorial Stadium and will be televised on ESPN.
