If you’ve been listening all year, the themes keep repeating. The difference this week: the Bears closed. It wasn’t art, but it was a win, and that matters. Cal is 5–2, one step from bowl eligibility, with plenty of runway left to play its best football.

The honest assessment, though? The last three outings haven’t been clean. Boston College was a gutsy road win with too much slop. Duke was a turnover avalanche.
