The newest Bear took an official visit to Cal two weeks ago and came away impressed.
“The visit was so amazing,” Meza said. “What stood out to me is how much love the coaching staff shows and I got to have dinner with the players which was really awesome and being around those guys is for sure the environment I want to be around. The student section was really wild and energetic. That was super cool as well.”
The 3 star receiver who also holds offers from Utah, Colorado, Minnesota, Arkansas, Kansas State and more had a stellar sophomore season with 57 receptions for 1,131 yards and 10 touchdowns in 10 games as a sophomore Mountain Ridge (Herriman, UT). After transferring to Corner Canyon as a junior, Meza added 42 catches for 784 yards and 8 TDs and so far this season, the senior has 46 catches for 944 yards and 13 TDs.
Meza becomes the third wide receiver commit of the 2026 class, joining WRs EJ Morgan and Tyree Sams.
