Bears Pick Up Big Commitment From 4 Star Oklahoma OT Daniel McMorris

The Bears added their second commitment in the last two days, securing a commitment from Norman North (Norman, Oklahoma) offensive tackle Daniel McMorris‍.

The 6-6/270 senior holds offers from nearby Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Wisconsin, Stanford, Northwestern and more. The Sooners and Texas Tech held early leads in McMorris’ recruitment but the relationship he’s developed with the Cal staff, particularly OL coach Famika Anae earned the Bears the 4 star OT’s commitment.

McMorris became the Bears’ 23^rd commit of the 2026 class, joining fellow Cal OL commits Murietta Valley OT Elisha Faamatuainu‍, Thomasville-Georgia OG Artem Korchagin‍, St. Louis-Honolulu OG Kamo'i Huihui-White‍ and Kailua OT Esaiah Wong‍.
