After the California football team’s thrilling upset victory over No. 15 Louisville, three Golden Bears collected four ACC Player of the Week honors, announced by the conference office on Monday morning.

For the third time this season, Cal quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele has been named ACC Rookie of the Week. In addition, Sagapolutele has been named ACC Quarterback of the Week for the first time.

Against the Cardinals, Sagapolutele completed 30 of his 47 passes for a season-high 323 yards and two touchdowns.

Secondly, Cal wide receiver Jacob De Jesus was named the ACC’s Receiver of the Week following his performance against Louisville.

De Jesus ended Saturday with career highs in catches (16) and receiving yards (158). His lone touchdown reception was the game winner in overtime. De Jesus’ 16 catches tied the school record, matching Geoff McArthur's 16 catches against Stanford in 2003.

On the defensive side of the ball, cornerback Hezekiah Masses was named the ACC Defensive Back of the Week.

Masses intercepted his fifth pass of the season while adding six tackles and a pass break up. Masses is now tied for the most interceptions (5) in the nation and in the ACC.
