2026’s early signing day came early this year with this season’s earliest signing day in NCAA history, beginning today and running through December 5.
The signings started first with highly-touted 4 star 6-6/265 Norman North (Norman, OK) OT Daniel McMorris.
- Helped his 2025 offense score 43 points or more in three consecutive wins from Sept. 19 - Oct. 3
- A four-star recruit, the No. 1 overall player in the state of Oklahoma and the nation’s No. 11 offensive tackle recruit according to 247 Sports
- Also offered by Iowa State, Minnesota, Oklahoma and Texas Tech, among others
Next came 6-2/225 3 star Arvada West (Wheat Ridge, CO) MLB Jaxon Pyatt
- A four-year varsity player who totaled 110 tackles, including 11.5 TFL, as a senior in addition to four sacks and one interception for an Arvada West team that went 10-2 and ranks as the No. 2 team in the 5A Metro league in Colorado.
- Registered 140 total tackles (18.0 TFL) as a junior, including four sacks, and added one interception and five passes defended.
- Also featured as a running back and scored a pair of rushing touchdowns in both his junior and senior seasons.
- A consensus three-star recruit who ranks as high as the No. 15 recruit in Colorado and the No. 80 linebacker nationally, according to ESPN.
- Also had offers from Ole Miss, Boston College, Notre Dame and Miami, among others.
The third to sign was one of the more recent commits, 6-1/190 Corner Canyon (Draper, UT) 3 star WR Kai Meza
- This past fall, he caught 64 passes for 1,074 yards and 12 touchdowns.
- As a junior, tallied 46 receptions for 944 yards and 13 touchdowns.
- A three-star recruit, the No. 13 overall player in the state of Utah and the nation’s No. 107 wide receiver recruit according to 247Sports.
Fourth up was 6-4/325 Murrieta Valley (Murrieta, CA) 3 star OG Elisha Faamatuainu
- Helped both his 2024 junior and 2025 senior squads to the championship and semifinal game of the Division 2 Southern Section playoffs, respectively, and a combined 20-7 record (11-3, 2024; 9-4, 2025)
- Anchored an offensive line as a 2025 senior that helped his squad average 39.1 points per game, while rushing for 257.8 yards per contest and registering 434.8 per game of total offense
- Named first-team All-Big West Upper League as a 2024 junior when his squad was 11-3 overall and averaged 42.3 points, 258.4 rushing yards and 412.1 total yards per game
- A consensus three-star recruit who ranks as high as the nation’s No. 75 interior offensive lineman in the 2026 recruiting class according to ESPN

Fifth up was speedy 5-8/180 Clovis North (Fresno, CA) HS 3 star WR Tyree Sams
- This past season, Sams recorded 865 total yards in seven games. He tallied 31 rushing yards, 609 receiving yards, 99 kick return yards and 126 punt return yards.
- In 2024, Sams tallied 969 total yards and scored seven touchdowns in the CIF Central Section.
- A three-star recruit, the No. 67 overall player in the state of California and the nation’s No. 55 athlete recruit according to 247Sports.
- A multi-sport athlete who also runs track. Last spring, he recorded a 10.48 in the 100m and has run a 21.61 in the 200m.
Next up was 6-1/305 De La Salle (Concord, CA) 3 star DT Nemyah Telona. The Bears had to fight off late charges from Arizona and Arizona State for the Antioch, CA DT.
- A two-way player on the offensive and defensive lines who has been recruited to Cal as a defensive lineman
- Contributed 30 tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks and one interception in 10 games as a 2025 senior for a 12-0 unbeaten squad that won the East Bay - Mountain Football League and North Coast Section Open Division titles with a victory over Pittsburgh to reach the state championship game against Santa Margarita on Dec. 13
- Served as a captain for the 2025 NCS title game win over Pittsburgh
- Had 31 tackles, 10.0 tackles for loss and 4.0 sacks as a 2024 junior for a team that finished 12-1 on its way to East Bay - Mountain Football League and NCS titles before falling to Mater Dei in the state championship game
- A consensus three-star recruit who ranks as high as the nation’s No. 65 defensive lineman in the 2026 recruiting class by 247 Sports

7th up was 5-11/190 Miami Edison (Miami, CA) 3 star RB Victor Santino. The talented Los Angeles, CA running back had to find a new home during the season after his program was shut down for recruiting violations, moving to Miami for the final 7 games of the season after missing the first half during the transfer process.
- This past season, he ran for 902 yards on 63 carries with seven touchdowns in seven games.
- As a junior, he rushed for 857 yards on 116 carries with eight touchdowns.
- A three-star recruit, the No. 47 overall player in the state of Florida and the nation’s No. 25 running back recruit according to 247Sports.
- Also runs track and has a personal best 11.29 100 meter dash time.
Next up was 6-0/185 Western (Carson, CA) HS 3 star DB Ernest Nunley
- Registered five interceptions and 20 total passes defended as a senior, in addition to 57 total tackles for a Western HS team that went 6-5 and made it to the first round of the Division 4 playoffs.
- Spent junior year at Narbonne HS where he totaled 26 tackles, 2 interceptions and 10 total passes defended.
- A consensus three-star recruit who ranks in the top-100 recruits in California.
- Also had offers from San Diego State, San Jose State, UNLV and Boise State, among others.
9th up was 6-2/235 Corona Centennial (Corona, CA) HS 3 star LB Jonathan McKinley
- A versatile defensive player who primarily played a linebacker/edge rusher position in his prep years.
- Totaled 89 tackles, including 11.0 sacks, and one interception in addition to 11 QB hurries as a senior at Centennial HS, which finished with an 11-2 record and went undefeated in league play to earn a No. 2 ranking in California and No. 9 in the nation in 2025.
- Was named the league’s Defensive Lineman of the Year as a junior, totaling 57 tackles, 10.5 sacks and 21 QB hurries.
- As a sophomore, was named League Defensive Player of the Year after compiling 39 tackles, 4.5 sacks and 12 QB hurries.
- A consensus three-star recruit who ranks as high as the No. 53 recruit in the state and No. 46 among the nation's inside linebackers according to ESPN.

10th up was the Bears’ most recent commit, 5-11/185 Westlake (Westlake, CA) 3 star ATH (WR/Safety) Niles Davis
- As a senior, he caught 41 passes for 618 yards and 10 touchdowns for the Warriors.
- A three-star recruit, the No. 212 overall player in the state of California and the nation’s No. 151 running back recruit according to 247Sports.
- A multi-sport athlete who also runs track and has clocked a 10.8 100-meter time.
Next up was 6-0/165 Central East (Fresno, CA) HS 3 star WR EJ Morgan
- This past season, he caught 55 passes for 803 yards and eight touchdowns.
- In 2024, he had 45 catches for 647 yards and eight touchdowns for a team that won the Division I-AA championship.
- A three-star recruit, the No. 42 overall player in the state of California and the nation’s No. 80 wide receiver recruit according to 247Sports.
- A multi-sport athlete who also runs track. Last spring, he qualified for the California State Track and Field Championships in four events (200m, 400m, 4x100m and 4x400m relays).
12th up was 6-2/305 Corona Centennial (Corona, CA) 3 star DT Kingston Schirmer.
- Contributed a career-high 39 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, one quarterback hurry and four passes defended as a 2025 senior when he played in 12 games for a squad that finished 11-2 overall, won the Big West - Upper Football League title with a 5-0 conference record and reached the finals of the Southern Section Division I playoffs
- Blocked a field goal in a 28-27 win over Mater Dei in the 2025 Southern Section Division I semifinals
- A consensus three-star recruit who ranks as high as the nation’s No. 79 defensive lineman in the 2026 recruiting class by ESPN
