The Bears grabbed one of their big CB targets in the portal with today’s commitment from Georgia Bulldogs junior cornerback Daniel Harris.
As a junior in 2025, the 6-2185 Harris played in 13 games, starting in four including the SEC Championship game and College Football Playoff semifinal, adding 22 tackles and three pass breakups on the season.
Rated a 4 star prospect out of Gulliver Prep High School in Miami, Harris had 49 tackles, one TFL, two INT and a pass break up along with 93 kickoff return yards as a senior. He was also rated the #16 cornerback prospect and #157 overall nationally as a senior by 247. Harris also ran track in high school, running a 10.74 100m as a sophomore in 2021, taking 6th and the 200m and 8th in the 100m in the Florida state championships.
Harris chose the Bulldogs over Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Tennessee, Miami and more.
