California women’s basketball junior guard Lulu Twidale has been named to the Atlantic Coast Conference All-Second Team, it was announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon. The Australian native became the second straight Golden Bear to be recognized on an All-ACC team as former teammate Ioanna Krimili earned second-team honors in 2025.
Twidale is having a career year as she is averaging career highs in scoring (16.1 points per game), assists (3.8 per game) and 3-pointers per game (3.0). She finished the regular season as the conference leader in 3-pointers for both the full season (90) and conference play (63). Since Jan. 1, Twidale also leads the nation in 3-pointers (62). She is one of only four players in the country with three games this season with at least seven made triples.
Twidale currently ranks second on Cal’s all-time career 3-pointers list and is just nine away from claiming first place and is also just eight away from becoming the Bears’ all-time single season leader. Her 94 made triples last season currently rank second.
On Feb. 8 at Pitt, Twidale became the 29th player in program history to join the 1,000-point club. This season, she has posted three 30-point road games, which are tied for the most in the ACC and tied for third nationally. Overall, the three 30-point games rank second in the ACC and are tied for 18th nationally.
Twidale finished the regular season as just one of two players in the ACC to rank in the top 10 for scoring (7th), assists per game (4.2 - 8th), 3-pointers made and free throw percentage (93.0 - 1st) during conference play. She is the only player in the country to have two games with at least 30 points, seven assists and seven triples.
She and the Bears enter the ACC Tournament in Duluth, Georgia, as the No. 10 seed and will face 15th-seeded Wake Forest on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. PT on ACC Network.
