With recruiting season over and spring practice about to begin, the 2018 Spring football roster has been released.  Based on conversations with the staff, outside football experts and in depth film review, Bear Insider will present a position-by-position analysis over the next few weeks

S – Evan Rambo, 6-4, 210, RS Junior

S – Jaylin Hawkins, 6-0, 195, RS Junior

Top Reserves:

S - Ashtyn Davis, 6-1, 190, RS Junior

S - Quentin Tartabull, 5-11, 195, RS Senior

CB/NB - Josh Drayden, 5-10, 185, Junior

CB/NB - Traveon Beck, 5-9, 160, Junior

NB/S - Trey Turner III, 6-1, 180, RS Junior

S/CB - Chigozie Anusiem, 6-1, 180, Freshman


Another of the improved positions groups on the Cal defense in 2017, the defensive backfield may be the deepest unit on the 2018 Bear football team as we enter Spring practice.
