The Protect College Sports Act, a bill designed to create national regulations for student-athlete Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) rights and college athletics, includes limited antitrust protections, NIL and transfer standards, and rev share governance, AND with designs to prevent B1G and SEC expansions, so says the College Game Day pod.

The B1G and SEC oppose the Protect College Sports Act. The SEC may go it alone. Georgia HC, Kirby Smart, with the support of his college President, has said as much.
How can this bill do anything but force them in that direction with its focus on limiting B1G/SEC mobility?
