Late July is prime time for optimists.   And more than any other time in the last 15 years, Cal has put itself in a position to objectively and rationally support the arguments for optimism.

The alignment from Chancellor to GM to Head Coach.  The financial support from the University and the donors.  A top 15 portal class.  A truly elite signal caller, one of the more experienced rosters in college football, the list goes on and on.
