The Bears took to the field Monday in shoulder pads and helmets in a spirited practice as spring practice resumed.

Future Cal tight end McCallan Castles took in the practice with his South Lake Tahoe coach. Castles likes what he sees in the Bears and is bullish on their prospects for the 2018 season.

Also at Memorial was 4 star Nashville defensive tackle Tymon Mitchell.

Before practice, newly-named Athletic Director Jim Knowlton, addressed the team, receiving positive reviews from head coach Justin Wilcox, center Addison Ooms and cornerback Cameron Bynum.
