Bears in Pads for Friday's Spring Practice

Heading into a weekend off, the Bears went full contact for Friday's practice, preparing for next week's final week of spring practice.

Defensive coordinator Tim DeRuyter addressed the media following practice to break down the defenses progress so far.

"We had some really good competition today," noted DeRuyter. "The most extensive live number of reps since I've been here.

"It's really good for the young guys. It's good for everybody.
