The Cal football team held its final practice in Berkeley Wednesday afternoon before their trip to North Carolina for the season opener Saturday.
The Bears will fly into Raleigh-Durham International Airport on Thursday, and then drive about 20 minutes to their hotel in Chapel Hill, with an expected arrival time around 8:00 p.m.
Of course much has been made of the long trip across the country, especially with the early kickoff time of 12:20 p.m. (9:20 a.m.
