Bear Insider Video: Cal OLB Russell Ude

After a change to outside linebacker from defensive end, Cal outside linebacker Russell Ude is hoping to take a big step forward in 2018.

A wildcard in the Bears defense, Ude will join junior Malik Psalms and likely incoming frosh Joey Ogunbanjo as primary OLB backups heading into the season.

"It's been a learning curve," said Ude of the transition from DE to OLB.  "Because you see the entire football field."

"I've been playing since I was nine-years-old.
