Bears Back on the Field After Day Off

Some observations from today:

• Ross Bowers and Brandon McIlwain took the vast majority of snaps at quarterback. Each had some good moments, although each threw at least one needless interception. McIlwain’s best pass was a 15-yard bullet to Vic Wharton on the goal line. Wharton, who is back in full go after missing most of the first week, made a fine grab in the grasp of a defender. He bobbled it briefly but held on.
