"If loving Hope Hicks is wrong, then I don't want to be right!"

…but the guys* in the tRump Admin called her the Village Bicycle. Was there anyone that didn't get a ride?

*Rob Porter,Corey Lewandowski….and you know tRump was thinking, "Well, if losers that far down the food chain are hittin' that….my beak is getting wet too."

*tRump would probably never do something like that with a staff member. He draws the line at ballin' porn stars when his wife is pregnant.

Trump is so dumb he doesn't even realize that he can talk to his son. He's also too much of a con man to admit he wasn't planning on going. And too much of a narcissist to admit that he could have gotten an earlier trial if he cared about getting this over with.

The real question is when is the last time he talked to his kid, let alone attended any of his events? Trump is far too much of a narcissist to attend any event that he isn't the center of.

EDIT: LOL

"I was hanging out in a freshman dorm with some friends, next door to Donald Jr.'s room. I walked out of the room to find Donald Trump at his son's door, there to pick him up for a baseball game. There were quite a few students standing around watching, trying to catch a glimpse of the famed real estate magnate. Don Jr. opened the door, wearing a Yankee jersey. Without saying a word, his father slapped him across the face, knocking him to the floor in front of all of his classmates. He simply said "put on a suit and meet me outside," and closed the door."

Sounds like Trump could use the White House pharmacist that Biden uses.

Humans need sleep.
It's not a crime for either of them.
It's a shame you turn something that has nothing to do with Biden into a slur upon Biden.

Trump heard about me, in my 8 AM classes back in the day... thought it sounded cool.

You must have missed the drugged up Biden's state of the union. Nothing to do with sleep, all about the drug.

Oh really?
Which drugs did he take?

There's no evidence of it.
None of you can diagnose by what we all saw.

Look, don't be stupid:

1. It was a very important presentation. You don't think he/they KNEW that the vigor he presented on that night would be important? If he appeared to behave differently, perhaps it's because he came in with a different mindset, a REHEARSED mindset to do precisely that.

2. I'm sure he got a nap in before.
I'm sure he ate well.
And while you're accusing him of stimulants of unknown negative type, let me point out the following common use:

According to a 2024 survey, 73% of Americans drink coffee daily. This is the highest rate of coffee consumption in about a decade. The average American drinks just over 3 cups of coffee per day.

(For the record I never have ever consumed coffee. But people are addicted to it, and it is a powerful stimulant.)

"Would anyone here want to put their family at risk to serve on one of Trump's juries?"

I wouldn't. Once you do your duty for the government, whether it be as a juror, a witness to a crime, an informant, or a soldier*, and you are no longer of use to them, THEY DON'T GIVE A F@UCK ABOUT YOU.

*The government treats disabled Vets like an insurance carrier treats a claimant: deny, deny, deny, road block, road block, deny, deny….until you give up.

Interesting and sad comments. I do not quibble with the assertion.

But yesterday while working I was listening to the news about the happenings and a mental train went through my head about this very threat and how I might answer some of the jury questions.

One response I gave was:

"I've had ancestors drafted in to serve in military combat where the threat of killing and being killed was very real.

I was never asked to do so.

But if my government asked me to serve my country in this way then I shall do so,"

What do you think? Would that get me excused, or would my murderous intentions be well enough disguised that I could be elected Foreman of the Jury and pound down any Trump sympathizers?

I would definitely be one of those cloaked jurors trying to get in on the final 12. "Oh, suuurre! I can definitely keep and open, impartial mind!!" (Meanwhile, I'm envisioning knives and guillotines.)

think they'd spot me???
I spent considerable time imagining how to come off right. Do I look at trump or not? Smile at him or not? How to dress? Wear a disguise? A mask?

And if the threat of thugs attacking me after I send his ass to hell, I'd announce: "I regret that I have but one life to give to my country!"

You have your opinion I have mine, plus those of a lot of my ex-addict friends who have experience dealing with their drug altered friends. They all think Biden was on something that night given how they've seen him during other recent speeches. I don't think I'm being stupid.

You guys are having your fun but really, this trial is a legal travesty. The charges are misdemeanors in NY and the statute of limitations has passed. Bragg is piggy backing alleged federal election law crimes to revive the charges but the payments weren't illegal under federal law. This whole thing is really wrong.

That's from the first semester of civil procedure. I didn't realize that Woody Allen made a serious legal thriller.

So, you're buying that he paid stormy and instructed his buddy David Pecker to never print anything about it???

Or, you feel like Mitch did about Impeachment #2, that he is morally and ethically culpable, but that was the wrong venue or application of Justice?

Or, other?

Sounds like you simply want him to get off on a technicality. But I'll remind you:
He porked her.
He conspired to pay her for silence in an attempt to aid his campaign.
While both of the above is bad enough from a character standpoint, he broke election finance law in the way he handled the bookkeeping.

So, besides your moaning and groaning, or rather… please explain more about your moaning and groaning, because he sounds like a spectacular candidate.

My understanding is the statute of limitations are considered tolled under New York law. Also, the prosecution is arguing the crimes are a felony due to the crime being in service of another crime (the one Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen went to prison for).

But it's probably a good bet that even if Traitor Trump is found guilty some friendly judge will throw it out on appeal.

So, technicalities aside, do you think Trump committed a crime?

Here's another one for you.

Ari Melber pointed out on his show today that the defense wanted to know ALL of the charges that will be thrown at him after the jury is set, but Bragg only has to reveal ONE to get him seated there, and it's normal for prosecutors to them reveal ALL of them at the last minute.

That doesn't sound right as I type it, but I believe that's what he said.

If true, people who say he didn't commit any crimes… we haven't even heard all the charges and evidence.

Here's Trump's strategy:

Once the judge sets the 12 jurors, plus 6 alternates, the defense teams will work fast as hard on researching and knocking off 7 of them.
Once 18 turns into 11, the judge has the declare a mistrial and they have to start all over.

Delay delay delay.

(Knock off could be evidence that they ARE biased, or ill, or intimidated, or….knocked off.

Going into today, 12 jurors selected and looking for 6 alternates. Possibly opening arguments on Monday. At that point Traitor Trump and his mob of unethical media will begin the un-American activity of intimidating jurors in earnest.

The judge should have somehow collected 30 alternates. Because Trump will be rifling through the 18.

Believe what you will. I know you believed the sources that said tRump smells. This is one of the identified odors. It is so tRumpian. It is a total F@uck you power move. Rudy perpetually stepped on barking spiders in public hearings. The normal rules of courtesy and decorum don't apply to them.

* By the way, tRump will never get convicted in any criminal matter and he will get elected POTUS by hook or crook. Only Mother Nature aided by his lack of self discipline and impulse control will do him in. Billy Shatner will out live him.
