I should also add that there are probably 'situations' where I'd believe anything Stormy said. There are no times where I could say the same for Trump.

Well, that's a bit much.
I mean, I'd believe Trump if he was dragged onto the guillotine stage and he squealed and said he didn't want to go.
I'd also believe him if the blade began traveling in super duper x-mo slow-mo, but at a continuous rate, and he said, "it hurts, it hurts like hell!"
Good. Cause that's where you're going, buddy.
β¦ How much do you suppose that could raise in pay-per-view? Cause I'd pay each and every time I watched it!

I've now gotten two serious (appearing) replies to obvious (to me) comments that I made involving Republican politicians, Noem and Trump. Both comments were old guy, over the top, sexual innuendos. You guys need to lighten up. Or not...keep grinding. (that last comment was addressed to Stormy)
Upon leaving court today, Donald Trump said he's not allowed to testify because of the gag order, which is not accurate.

It took forever to convict John Gotti, and they gave up trying after 4 trials against the son. They will never get tRump for the same reason. You only have to threaten one juror (and their family).
I think a sneaky lawyer told him to say it. A prosecutor isn't allowed to draw a negative inference from a defendant's choice not to testify. That being the case, the prosecution is barred from correcting Trump's bold faced lie. Of course, everyone else (including Michael Cohen) can call him out but Trump knows that anything he says will be covered and anything anyone else says will be lost in the noise.bearister said:Upon leaving court today, Donald Trump said he's not allowed to testify because of the gag order, which is not accurate.

tRump made that false statement for one of the following reasons:
1. He previously announced that he would testify at the trial. He doesn't want his supporters to think that he is a coward that chickened out, and he assumes they are just stupid enough to believe this explanation;
2. He is as dumb as a dump truck full of turnips;
3. He is a pathological liar;
4. He is simply making a joke and being a troll.
We knew he could not testify because 1) He is guilty and truthful testimony would just supply another coffin nail to the prosecution; and
2) Even if his defense counsel was willing to script a plausible false narrative that could be helpful to his defense, tRump is too stupid to read and process such a script and to improvise should the need arise during cross.
Hopefully the judge addresses this false statement so that there is no doubt in the impaired minds of his supporters that the gag order has no impact on tRump's constitutionally protected right to testify on his own behalf.
At the end of the day, nobody said it better than tRump himself:

The Don acts exactly like a mob boss. Nevertheless, I would still tell him to his face "I want to see you in an orange jump suit!" Too bad I'll never get the chance.
Once again, I respectfully disagree with you about one detail regarding Trump. First of all, "They" have already "gotten" him twice: in the E. Jean Carroll sexual harassment and defamation case, and in the New York fraud case, and he's going to pay a pretty sum for being held accountable.
I admit it will be harder to convict him criminally, but -- unless there is jury nullification a la OJ -- the evidence will show beyond a reasonable doubt Trump is criminally guilty as charged.

There is ZERO chance trump is acquitted here. No way unanimous not guilty. But it could be a hung jury. And in that case Trump will declare himself 100% innocent of all charges and that will be the FoxNews headline, just like with his impeachment trials.
It'll be a 11-1 joke.
