Maybe, but I'll bet it paints a better picture of that school than reality. After all, how can any film or stage show paint a WORSE picture of that school than reality does? Even saying "Stanford sucks. BIG TIME!!" is being too kind.ncbears said:

A key plot element is "Nina" who is first generation American living in Washington Heights in New York City. She has worked and worked through school and is the first in her family to go to college - and one of the first from her neighborhood to go. She - and those around her - think Stanford is the ticket to success. In the stage show, she notes how she didn't fit in and how expensive the school is when she comes home after the first year, without much detail.NVBear78 said:
