FWIW

On the Cal QB all time Career Passing Rating Rank:
1. Rodgers 150.3
2. Levy 146.2
3. Goff 144.0
4. Barr 140.9
5. Webb 135.6
6. Robertson 135.5
7. Barnes 134.9
8. Campbell 132.7
9. Pawlawski 132.4
10. Longshore 131.8
11. Riley 131.6
12. Garbers 130.2
13. Maynard 128.4
14. Rubenzer 126.4
15. Graumann 126.3
16. Taylor 124.1
17. Morton 123.2
18. Young 122.9
19. Bowers 120.4
20. Anderson 119.0
21. Roth 116.6
22. Vedder 116.3
23. Ayoob 114.
24. Gilbert 112.7
25. Bartkowski 112.7

The above may surprise some people. Among other factors, people love QBs on teams that win and hate QBs on teams that lose, despite the QB's actual performance. The most overrated QBs in NFL history are on teams that won with great defenses and/or a great rushing attack.

Oh, and late era Tedford QBs:
1. Riley 131.6
2. Maynard 128.4
3. Sweeney 101.3
4. Kline 100.1
5. Mansion 85.3
6. Bridgford 80.0
7. Hinder 63.4

Many people on this board hated Riley and Maynard, a few even wishing they would get injured so Tedford would be forced to play the backup, but when they got their wish they found out Tedford really had been playing the best QB we had. The issue was, why didn't we have someone better?

Many touted QBs (half of all elite 11s) fail to meet expectations in college. Tedford recruited more than one decent QB. Longshore, pre-injury, looked very good. Riley had a winning record as a starter and is probably disproportionately downgraded because of his brain cramp against OSU. His career was also impacted by serious injury.
