Can't help you with parking. I fly up from So Cal, so it's always BART, Uber, and walking. But I did want to chime in with my suggestion if you're looking for pizza and you have time to venture a bit farther from campus. I always try to get to Zachary's when I come up for a game. They have a couple of locations; I go to the one on College Avenue. It's a Chicago style stuffed pizza, and even though I'm a serious carnivore, the spinach-mushroom is one of my favorite things to eat in the entire world. It's maybe 2 miles from campus, but it's a nice walk or an easy bus ride straight down College, near the Rockridge BART station.

Top Dog on Durant is a must. Not because it's THAT great, but for the tradition.

Since no one mentioned it, you have to be super careful with leaving stuff in your car. Auto burglary is terrible right now. So be sure nothing visible is left in your car. And anything Bluetooth can be identified in a trunk, so disable that stuff. Hate to have you return to a car with a smashed window. Leave the laptop at home. Seriously.

Apart from that negativity, I hope you have a great road trip and time in Berzerkeley!

This could be a really good football game, but there are too many factors that are likely to negatively affect attendance.

Often a big discrepancy nowadays between announced attendance and fans in the stands, to the point where I have no idea what they will announce, but I'm guessing Memorial will not look very full... at all. On the bright side, having SOME fans in there cheering on the Golden Bears is a huge step up from last year!

The announced attendance will be 41K.

Only about 32K will be in the stands.

In retrospect I forgot this was an evening game. That does knock down the attendance, perhaps as much as 5K to 7.5K on actual attendance.

Not sure I agree with this. I'd bet (not much) that our night games (5 and 7 pm) average a higher attendance than 12:30 games (especially if you omit Stanford games which haven't been played at night for 30ish years). If someone has the energy to look this up

Most season ticket holders I know don't go to night games. But maybe more students will go.

I've never seen the bars so empty. 15k.

I like the idea of getting a top dog and take a walk to the stadium. Will def do that next time.

A significant variance between tix sold (35117) and attendees (?) is not unexpected given the time of game and the concern regarding the COVID situation. I would have expected actual attendance to be in the 80% range (28K) of tix sold.
