Any plans for Shaffer's to add the Golden Bear to their Specialty Cocktails?

On the current lineup, it's between The Sanitizer, Super Spreader and Old Quarantined (as long as they go light on the simple syrup!).

Note that NYCGOBEARS's msg that you quoted is from over a year ago. Unclear if Shaffers will still be a Cal bar this season given jtwams's recent message about Gebhard's Beer Culture being a new Cal bar.

Shaffers might show the Notre Dame game since it will be broadcast on NBC Sports. BUT, Shaffers is a Michigan and Pitt bar so if there is time conflict, I doubt they will switch a TV to the Bear's game unless they want a riot....

If the Bears are on the PAC-12 Network, the game will NOT be available at Shaffers - they don't have the Pac-12 Network!!!

Instead, go to Gebhard's Beer Culture at 228 West 72nd Street. They have been gracious enough to show the games AND they have the PAC-12 Network on all of their screens....

Plug Uglies is a San Francisco (Giants/Niners/Warriors) sports bar. They might have a P12/Cal contingent too.
