As a casual fan, I'm pretty surprised that Cal is this bad this year. Things seemed to be improving - both on the field and in recruiting- through the first 3 years of Wilcox, and then I didn't hold the crazy covid year against anyone. I think the team itself is pretty stunned as well.
Not sure what can be done during this season if Cal goes on to lose today. Do you change QBs? Do you make changes on the O-line, etc? Does none of these changes matter? Will anything save Wilcox's job and the pending recruits of th 2022 class?

I wonder with all these blitzing LBs if I might not be smart to run slants and passes to the middle zone? Just a thought.

I'm not watching, I can't bear to do that, I'm just listening on 810. Is Chase not part of the problem? I'm not sure if that's good or bad news!

This is the most hopeless i hv felt since dyke's 1 win season. I was a wilcox fan before this season. We always won our ooc games and played tough and then wilt down the stretch. We beat SC. Beat stanford finally. We were making progress.

This season shows how clueless our staff really is. And also the lack of fire by every person except for maybe some positional coaches is damning.
