I'm not mad as a 49er fan, but as a fan of the game, this game sucks because there is no way for one of the teams to compete.
I'm sure most fans around the country are very disappointed in these events.
This was looking like a pretty good game, even with Josh J in there at first.

That is what they did with Purdy.
McCaffery can throw better than an injured Purdy. They tried one halfback pass, but by the time Purdy got the ball to McCaffery and he set up to throw, the defense was already there. It would have worked better without Purdy as the middle man.

Not after the QBs got hurt. But his decision to try and block Haason Reddick with Tyler Kroft is beyond inexcusable. The game essentially ended right there. Lets try and block the #2 sack guy in the entire league with our 3rd string TE in the NFC Championship. I know it is the NFL and you have to expect all the players to be able to do their jobs, but that was a very bad matchup. And was a matchup that Shanahan had in his gameplan. A veteran QB with the quickest release in pro football instead of Purdy, Johnson, Garoppolo etc, would not have made any difference?
