Hola Bears! Duck fan here. My son and I have long wanted to see UC Berkeley and watch a game in Memorial Stadium. We're hoping like hell the Pac-10 stays together after those other Cali schools depart, but we've decided not to put off the Berkeley road trip any longer and are coming down next weekend. Thus the inevitable question: where to park?? We'll be in one of those ubiquitous Sprinter vans with solar panels on the roof, it's 10 feet tall and won't fit in a parking garage but any standard outdoor parking spot should do. Any suggestions? We don't mind parking at a distance and taking transit or a shuttle as long as the parking area isn't too sketchy. Would greatly appreciate any tips or pointers here.

Also, we could use a pair of tickets if anyone is looking to sell. We are fans of the pleasant sort: gracious in both victory and defeat, appreciative of good performances by either team, politely offering suggestions to officials on only the most egregious of missed calls. No chest-thumping here. Cal is, in fact, our third-favorite Pac-12 team and we always root for you in the Big Game. So we wouldn't be too obnoxious to share a row with if you have extras.

Also also: Go Bears, beat the Huskies!!

Great advice. Before I got reserved parking I would do that very thing.

Many of the fraternities near and south of the stadium offer game day parking in their parking lots fot a steep fee ($20-70). See 2nd attachment.

If you don't mind walking, there's untimed street parking west of Telegraph and south of Dwight. See 1st attachment.

Re: taking bart. Be prepared that the walk from Downtown Berkeley BART to the Stadium is a decent uphill hike.

If budget isn't an issue my new preferred parking location is actually at the UC-controlled garages. I recommend the Oxford and Center street garage. It's $45 payable with credit card or tap to pay, indoor secure parking, and it's never crowded. The parking is good until 1 or 2am as well.

You can park there, have a nice walk through campus and enjoy the band, and walk back after the game. Completely zero stress.
