I believe he wanted to get the guy on the ground.

In doing so, you can get the flames out by covering him. As it was, a person that wrapped him up trying to get the flames out wound up in the hospital too. That woman, (in her 40's) is a leader. The people that just stood there and did nothing to help, are losers.

Never get involved, other than videoing and posting on tictac for the amusement of the masses.

Never heard of the guy's son being a recruit. I'm smelling BS given what appears to be agenda that would suggest he is just anti-Cal.

When I first saw this video, my initial reaction was that the guy videotaping this (instead of jumping in to help smother the flames) is a loser. In my book, if you stand around doing nothing in a situation like this, you're clearly not someone that is a leader or has any balls.

Where is their humanity?

Would their reaction have been the same If the person on fire were their parent, child, spouse, boy or girlfriend or other loved one ?

The Roll Tide poster's profile says retired vet, and Bama '73. (Aside: 1973 is another one of Alabama's fake national championship title claims, as they lost the Sugar Bowl that season, but the AP awarded titles before the bowl games back then.)

Back to the point, if someone graduated Bama in '73, they were likely born in '51. That would make this character approximately 72 years old, meaning he had his "football recruit" son at the age of about 54 or 55. Could happen I suppose, but there is not football recruit with a surname anything like the poster's name on the 247 recruit database.

I think he's another wacko with an anti-Berkeley bias is all. Which, if true, is pathetic that this yokel used a self-immolation situation to bring eyeballs to his lousy account.
