Incredible. Our strength and conditioning program is like on the Baltimore Ravens level.

Would like to hear if these are precautionary measures seeing as several players are returning from lengthy absences & we don't want to overload them, or if these are new injuries.

If these are new, perhaps we need to take a look at the S&C program.

Every year our hopes are dismantled by injuries. I'm sure we will here great things about the offense over the course of Spring only to learn that it is subpar and it was just a sign that the defense is Dykes-level bad.

I'm used to this now after nearly 30 years of hope.

Most of these guys had injuries last season and many has surgeries they are still recovering from. Not uncommon at all over the years.

Always the dark side - we don;t know why they are not participating but it doesn't mean there are deficiencies in their training and what not. I would imagine other schools have similar situations, with some worse and some better. Mason Mangum ran track last year, that could be why he is missing practice this time too.

Yes, this is how they do it. We probably don't need to worry (I mean, about this).

Exactly, if they had surgery in December and have 6 months of healing, they will be available for Fall camp.

Happens every year. Experienced guys recoup. Newbies show their stuff.

Starling was a revelation when he was able to be on the field, but he has to be able to stay on the field.

Only at Cal could 10 players be out before the first spring practice begins!

I would suggest looking at the other P12 spring practice injury lists to confirm your opinion.
