Monster game at UCLA and their new frosh looks legit. Game is close but UCLA about to take control.

This is exactly the type of game Cal usually plays against an inferior opponent that portends doom. We'll see how it pans out for fucla. Garners looked terrible. Moore is much better but totally unpolished. This isn't Utah or USC they're playing tonight.
Please give to Cal Legends at https://calegends.com/calegendsdonate/donate-football/ and encourage everyone you know who loves Cal sports to do it too.

To be in the Top 1% of all NIL collectives we only need around 10% of alumni to give $300 per year. Please help spread the word. "If we don't broaden this base we're dead." - Sebastabear

Unpolished? He looks like a vet already. One bad pass/decision.

He was 7/12.
With 2 touchdowns. True frosh, first game. You guys are to used to Garbers types. yeesh.

My thought exactly. I think UCLA is in for a rough season. Most of the Pac12 has started really good, but not the Bruins.

I thought he looked like a vet already? Now it's "true frosh, first game." Which is it? Can't be both.

I submit 7/12 is a nice game that shows promise for a true frosh in his first game, but pretty bad for a vet. He did some nice things. He also did some really unpolished things. He was 3/4 and 1/1 on the two td "drives" and 3/7 on his others. Really small sample size and all against a feisty but pretty overmatched G5 team. He'll get 2 more weeks to make mistakes and learn, then he gets to go to Utah. Ucla is lucky to have another very easy schedule again this season, missing Oregon and Washington, but even so there are much tougher opponents waiting for them than the one last night that they were able to almost shut down completely in the red zone all night.

Sturdivant took the money. He would have been a monster here had he stayed. But he didn't.

Home cookin' against CC? Well, first game, ok. Utah will tell the tale. I think we'll ruin their season.

They did get some home cooking imo. Multiple scrums resulted in penalties only against Coastal. Critical and very questionable INT not reviewed. Patented Sturdivant bobble going out of bounds not reviewed, gave him the "catch."

He did everything he does against Coastal. Last night what he does well was enough to help Ucla win. Not sure but probably he best statistical game to date, so congrats to him. He probably made the right decision for him, just not for Cal. On to the next.

And Femi barely played. Live and learn I guess.

This seems to happen... Do players have any recourse? Once you burn your 'free transfer' there is a cost to moving on after you have been stiffed.

What will happen is a chilling effect on transfers to those schools. Word will spread.

Yeah, hopefully Kaleb Elarms-Orr keeps it up, good opportunity for him

KEO certainly looks the part and did a great job on that tip drill but he also looked tentative and confused pre snap at times. Pulling for him to put everything together but right now Allen looked more comfortable and able to play faster to me. From a one game sample.

Civil court? Is there anything in writing? Must be.
