Recognizing that Cal plays the Sun Devils next week, I was wondering do you think u$C is over-hyped or is
ASU better than anyone thinks? They may be improving every week, and if so, Cal may be in trouble.

I didn't watch the ASU/u$C game, but what do you think coaches?

ASU is better coached than everyone thinks.
Coaching matters at this level. Like a lot.

I know a lot of QBing as a 13-year NFL veteran watching Red Zone.

And I'm sorry to say, it's gonna get ugly.

last year everyone was saying that you can't win in the Pac/P5 without 4* players. that our recruiting sucks.

ASU went for every cockamamie trick play imaginable. They do have a fire hydrant rb/fb who throws it a little, but having seen that, we should be ready. I think ASU will try more conforming plays against us, thinking they cn beat us the old fashioned way.

Cal is in trouble in every game left on the schedule.

They got a lot better with the firing of Baldwin. Addition by subtraction.

They wanted to prove something and SC was clowning around a bit and maybe looking ahead to Colorado, plus ASU hasn't played a road game yet and could look much different in Berkeley.

I watched part of the ASU/USC game. The Sun Devils were in their home stadium and it was rockin'. Toejams came out flat, and let the fired up ASU hang with them for about 3 quarters. Then USC took control of their own destiny and walked out with a 2 TD lead. I think that took the air out of ASU, and so next week, as long as we can maintain a lead early in the game, I like our chances. But if, like at Washington, we start with a couple of mistakes giving them a score or two early on, then it'll be a tough dogfight all afternoon (or night I don't know the kick off time yet).

ASU if fully capable of beating us. Their coaching is better than ours.

Yes their coach took over playcalling one game after Baldwin tanked. Our guy let him wander the desert for 3 years.

we have to come out on fire. if we "test the waters" in the first two series to "see what they're doing," we'll get what we deserve.

This is a violation of team rules under Wilcox, isn't it?
Please give to Cal Legends at https://calegends.com/calegendsdonate/donate-football/ and encourage everyone you know who loves Cal sports to do it too.

To be in the Top 1% of all NIL collectives we only need around 10% of alumni to give $300 per year. Please help spread the word. "If we don't broaden this base we're dead." - Sebastabear
